1 More Travel Day and Then the Fun Begins!
Yesterday I survived 3 flights! Toronto to London to Madrid and finally to Pamplona! The last flight was 2 hours delayed. I slept well in my fabulous room. Things will begin to go downhill from here. I desperately needed sleep.
I had a great sleep last night and I had a wonderful breakfast. I am now about to put my backpack on for the first time and walk 3 km to the bus station here in Pamplona, Spain. I will board my bus and take a 2 hour journey across the Pyrenees Mountains into Saint Jean Pied de Porte, France.
Tomorrow is my last night in a hotel and then I begin walking Sunday morning over the Pyrenees mountains. I will actually walk in five days what I am busing today. I am actually busing into France , going backwards sort of, because I will have to walk all that distance over five days time and end up back in Pamplona.
I am off!
