My Spanish Adventure Comes to an End!
Thank You to all of you who followed my latest hiking/touring adventure in Spain this year!
Your comments, questions, thoughts, and encouragement helped out when I was alone and sometimes challenged by the hike! That was very true when I did the first hike in early May and I was by myself.
This will be my final post while in Spain. I fly home very early tomorrow morning!
I left home May 1st. I missed the birth of my new “ Great Niece “ – Brigitte (Joey’s new sister).
I have hiked great distances over 2 separate hikes.
I have reconnected with very close friends (whom are like family to me), and met some new friends as well.
I have absolutely loved sharing my adventure with all of you through the hundreds of photos that I posted.
I was asked what my favourite places and photos were. That’s really hard for me to answer because of various different aspects of this trip. My hiking, touring, and meeting up with friends I haven’t seen in a long time were all special for different reasons.
I will include pics that truly spoke to me over the last seven weeks! (One of them would have been a group photo of all of my friends from Australia and the USA, but I don’t have one with the full group!
I can’t wait to see my family again and catch up with my good friends!
I have decided to organize a short hiking tour next year for relatively new hikers who may want to visit Spain!
I will keep you all posted!

It truly is a magnificent country! It has more beauty than I ever knew it had. It has an amazing history and culture. I love the various regions of Spain and how the people and the traditions of each are so different (including the language differences). Spain has the kindest people I’ve ever met!
